VETERAN rockers Dr Feelgood will be among the headline acts when the seventh annual Durham Blues, Rhythm and Rock Festival returns in the summer.
Promoters Solid Entertainments have announced the line up for this year's festival, which takes to the stage at the Gala Theatre on Saturday, June 17.
Canvey Island's finest will top the bill with 11 artists performing at the venue, six of which will be on the amp-driven Main Stage.
Probably still best know for their chart hit Milk and Alcohol, Dr Feelgood were formed in Essex in the early 1970s and remain one of the most popular and exciting live rhythm and blues acts in the world.
They will be joined on the main stage by guitarist Aynsley Lister, soul singer Kyla Brox, Alabama songwriter Debbie Bond, no nonsense Rock and Rollers Albany Down and Glasgow's Brian Rawson Band.
The Blues Cafe Acoustic Stage will host Husky Tones, Mike Ross, Dr Blue, AJK James and George Shuvlin and the Radars.
Early Bird tickets are £26 available on 01472 349 222 or durhambluesfestival.co.uk.
